Now their hopes of ending their losing ways are dependent on Edinson Volquez. Volquez had a stellar first half this season, but has proven to be human in two starts since the All Star Break. His Era has went from 2.29 to 2.77, and he has failed to make it past the 5th inning in either start. Volquez will be opposed by Wandy Rodriquez of the Astros. Rodriquez has been very dominant in his two starts since the All Start Break. He has given up 2 earned runs, while striking out 14 in those games.
